Where to drop off

Seventeen collection points
across the UK

Every sample must arrive at your chosen collection point by 12:00pm on Monday 22 February 2027. Search by town, filter by region, and always telephone ahead.

Before you travel. Telephone your chosen collection point first in case of last minute changes, and deliver only on the specified date. Samples received before or after will not be accepted. Make sure your sample arrives in good condition. Dry ice or ice salt should be used, but should not sit too close to the sample.
Two more points are being finalised. Drop off points at Bournemouth in Dorset and Coleraine in Northern Ireland are still being confirmed for 2027. This list will be updated as soon as they are agreed — if your nearest point is not yet listed, telephone the Ice Cream Alliance on 01332 203 333.

Soft serve is judged fresh in Derby

Frozen soft serve samples cannot be accepted at standard drop off points. To ensure fair judging, all soft serve entries must be provided fresh on the day.

Entrants in the soft serve class bring their van to the ICA Head Office in Derby on a scheduled day on Friday 26 February 2027, where the soft serve is tested blind by the judging panel. Full details, including exact timings and instructions for preparing your soft serve, are provided closer to the event.
